CLOOK x Generative Art

This year is a big year for us at Clook and, there are a lot of exciting things happening. We are migrating across to our new V2 Cloud platform, continuing to broaden our knowledge base and onboarded our in-house designer and web dev, Scott.

We’ve grouped together a great team here at Clook and our collective knowledge about our client’s needs,  hosting server management and customer support is second to none.

Scott has joined our team to head up the design and marketing for our brands. Bringing with him 15+ years of experience in North West design agencies, we’ll be able to expand on getting our message out of all the exciting and top-level services Clook can offer you.

One part of Scott’s love for design is mixing his coding with his art. We’ve put together a visual experiment to see what happens when you let a Generative Artist loose with your brand.

“I’ve been working on generative art for a few years now and I love the randomness and chaos that comes from using code that has to be strict. Every time the script runs you’ll be presented something unique in colour, size, shape and layout. Sometimes it can look a mess and sometimes you see a composition that keeps your attention.”

“I’ve always loved the classic works of artists such as Jackson Pollack and Henri Matisse and their analogue process relates to the results my code produces. An American Generative artist, Joshua Davies is a major influence. His process of using Java/Processing through his HYPE Framework has enabled me to experiment in many ways”
